About Bassano Health Centre

Bassano Health Centre is a 24/7 rural acute and continuing care facility operated by Alberta Health Services, serving residents of Bassano and the County of Newell. The emergency department stabilizes patients of all ages using the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS), with on-site X-ray, laboratory services, and a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and respiratory therapists. Patients requiring advanced specialty care such as cardiac intervention, trauma surgery, or stroke treatment are stabilized and transferred to Brooks Health Centre or a larger regional facility.
