La Ronge Health Centre is Northern Saskatchewan's primary full-service hospital and regional referral centre, serving La Ronge and dozens of remote northern communities from its location at 227 Backlund St. The 24/7 emergency department provides around-the-clock urgent and emergency care, with services spanning acute care, labour and delivery, pediatrics, mental health, and long-term care. As a University of Saskatchewan Family Medicine residency training site and the largest health facility in the north, this hospital offers a broader clinical scope than many comparably sized rural centres.
