About Central Alberta Cancer Centre

The Central Alberta Cancer Centre (CACC), located at 3942 50A Avenue in Red Deer, Alberta, is a specialized outpatient cancer care facility serving a regional population of over 450,000 people across Central Alberta. Completed in 2013 and physically adjoined to Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, the CACC provides chemotherapy, radiation therapy, cancer navigation, pharmacy services, and psychosocial support — bringing advanced cancer care closer to home for patients who might otherwise travel to Edmonton or Calgary. Note: the CACC does not operate its own emergency department; patients requiring emergency care should use the adjacent Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, which provides 24/7 emergency services.
