About Westview Health Centre

Westview Health Centre is a full-service 68-bed acute care hospital operated by Alberta Health Services, serving Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and Parkland County with 24/7 emergency department care. The ER treats major trauma, cardiac events, injuries, and general medical conditions, with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, registered nurses, LPNs, and respiratory therapists using the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) to prioritize the most critical patients. Patients requiring a higher level of specialized care can be stabilized and transferred to Edmonton-area facilities, approximately 30 kilometres to the east, and the facility features an on-site helipad for emergency air transport.
