Burnaby Hospital, operated by Fraser Health Authority, is one of British Columbia's busiest community hospitals, serving over half a million residents across Burnaby, East Vancouver, and surrounding communities from its location at 3935 Kincaid St. The 24/7 Emergency Department features 47 treatment bays, a dedicated CT scanner and X-ray machine on-site, and a Zone 5 psychiatric assessment and support service for patients with mental health needs. As a nearly 300-bed acute care and UBC-affiliated teaching facility, Burnaby Hospital is equipped to handle a wide range of emergencies, from trauma and cardiac events to obstetric and surgical emergencies.
