About Delta Hospital

Delta Hospital is a 58-bed acute-care community hospital and Level V trauma centre operated by Fraser Health, serving more than 100,000 residents across Ladner, Tsawwassen, North Delta, and the Tsawwassen First Nation. The Emergency Department runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with 10 acute beds, 10 observation beds, a dedicated trauma room, negative pressure isolation rooms, and a fast-track stream for lower-acuity patients — seeing approximately 34,000 patients annually. This is the right choice for urgent medical needs in South Delta; patients requiring advanced cardiac intervention, major trauma, or pediatric subspecialty care may be transferred to larger Fraser Health facilities such as Surrey Memorial or Royal Columbian Hospital.
