About Leduc Community Hospital

Leduc Community Hospital's emergency department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a year, serving Leduc and the surrounding communities approximately 20 kilometres south of Edmonton. The ED handles major trauma, cardiac events, injuries, and general medical problems, with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, registered nurses, LPNs, and respiratory therapists using the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) to prioritize care. Patients requiring a higher level of intervention are stabilized on-site and transferred to an appropriate Edmonton-area facility.
