What to Bring

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Peel Memorial Centre a full Emergency Department?
No. Peel Memorial's Urgent Care Centre is not a full Emergency Department. It is designed for non-life-threatening conditions that can't wait for a regular appointment. For serious or life-threatening emergencies, go to Brampton Civic Hospital (2100 Bovaird Drive East) or Etobicoke General Hospital (101 Humber College Blvd), both of which have full 24/7 Emergency Departments.
Can I bring my infant to the Urgent Care Centre at Peel Memorial?
Infants six months of age or younger should not be brought to the Peel Memorial Urgent Care Centre. They should be seen at one of Osler's full Emergency Departments — either Brampton Civic Hospital or Etobicoke General Hospital.
Do I need a doctor's referral to visit the Urgent Care Centre?
No referral is required. The Peel Memorial Urgent Care Centre accepts walk-in patients 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Simply arrive and register at the centre.
Will an ambulance take me to Peel Memorial Centre?
No. Ambulances do not transport patients to the Peel Memorial Urgent Care Centre. If you require emergency transportation, paramedics will take you to one of Osler's full Emergency Departments — Brampton Civic Hospital or Etobicoke General Hospital.
What diagnostic services are available at Peel Memorial's Urgent Care Centre?
The Urgent Care Centre has on-site X-ray, CT scan, and laboratory services, allowing staff to diagnose and treat many conditions without requiring you to go elsewhere.
Is there parking at Peel Memorial Centre, and are there EV charging stations?
Yes. Peel Memorial has both outdoor parking across from the Urgent Care entrance and underground parking on the east side of the building. There are 13 EV charging stations (6.6 kW ChargePoint) on site. Parking rates are approximately $3.85 per 30 minutes with an $18.50 daily maximum — confirm current rates with the facility directly.
