Windsor Regional Hospital – Met Campus, located at 1995 Lens Avenue in Windsor, Ontario, is one of the city's two full-service acute care campuses and part of Ontario's 11th largest hospital system. The Met Campus Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering complex trauma care, cardiac and stroke services, intensive care, and dedicated mental health assessments including psychiatric evaluations. With 290 beds on site and a wide range of specialty services, this campus is the appropriate destination for serious and complex medical emergencies across Windsor and Essex County.

Tips Before You Go

• If you are experiencing a psychiatric or mental health crisis, the Met Campus ED has on-site psychiatrists who can conduct formal assessments and arrange admissions — it is the appropriate campus for urgent mental health care.
• Language interpretation is available in over 170 languages via video and phone at no cost — let the triage nurse know your preferred language when you arrive.
• The Met Campus is a large multi-floor facility (up to 8 floors). A wayfinding map and directory are available at wrh.on.ca to help you navigate before your visit.
• If you are visiting the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Centre, it is located on the 4th Floor of the Met Campus — you can go directly to the ED for access and support.
• A Patient Representative and Volunteer Services desk are available on campus if you need help navigating services, understanding your rights, or connecting with support during your stay.
